I’ve had a passion for music since childhood, first learning piano at the age of 12 and guitar at 15. My journey into video game music began in 2013. After the loss of my mother, I sought new outlets and turned to the piano.
I began as a self-taught arranger, arranging songs from The Legend of Zelda, Minecraft, and Super Smash Bros. I even performed those video game songs at my local church talent show. With that said, Christ has always guided me, and over time I began to see how my faith and the love of music were part of who I was, and how both could inspire others.
By the time I learned guitar, I dove into the complexity of progressive rock, drawing inspiration from bands such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Genesis, and Yes. Returning to video game music with fresh ears, I found myself captivated by the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth soundtrack. Its prog rock-inspired melodies reminded me why I fell in love with video games in the first place. Through God’s guidance, that full-circle moment united my earliest passions with everything I’ve learned along the way.
